Alternative, complementary, natural or holistic…On the 17th of November 2001 Reality Check set out to discover what it was all about. We sought to bridge the gap between the traditional regime of insulin, diet and exercise (which we all know and love) with naturopathy, energy healing, relaxation and needles of a different kind (acupuncture!) It was a warm day - in temperature and in spirit. It was the first time that the new Reality Check space was used to its full capacity, and it was never going to be quite the same again. Whether it was massage, reiki (pronounced ray-key, Kate!), iridology or yoga, everyone was certainly having fun trying, and that's what it was all about…trying new things!
