I Saw Truth Outside My Window

I saw truth outside my window,
Almost recognised it nearing towards me.
It looked like bright pure light.
Delicately he reached out for my hand,
I stretched out to meet his.
Gently embracing my shuddering hand,
He wrote his name on it.

I saw 12's and 15's in the sky
And in the sea I saw 1.9's and 3's.
I saw truth outside my window;
One of society's taboos.
I dare not announce him to my people,
I am already one time forsaken.

Secretly I accepted its presence,
And felt the heat of the cold silvery metal.
I tasted the blood in my soup.

Oh truth, oh truth!
How many faces contain?
How many years will you supply?
