With funding from the Federal Government's Department of Health and Ageing, we have developed a 40-page book for Adults who are newly-diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes.
The resource has been critically reviewed and endorsed for clinical accuracy by 30 diabetes-specialist health care professionals from around Australia. As of October 2006, 224 diabetes centres and specialist practices are using the Kits to work with their newly-diagnosed patients.
